Cheers!
I’m not really a fan of the idea of “living completely self-sufficiently.” I’d much rather travel overseas to fish and explore delicious food from around the world. So true self-sufficiency just doesn’t suit my personality.
And yet… every year I end up sowing seeds.
It’s all for this one glass.
Cheers!
It all starts in late February, when I sow seeds for tomatoes, eggplants, and long green onions. Before I know it, I’m busy taking care of all the vegetables as they grow. I know I’m the one making my own life busier, but it’s worth it for one simple reason: enjoying seasonal food at its very best. Fishing is exactly the same.
Right now, we’re finishing our daily supply of lettuce and cabbage, and it’s time for the next challenge—keeping up with cucumbers and zucchini! Of course, our lodge guests kindly help us with that mission too. 😊
