ブログの更新が久しぶりになりました。今年の釣りを振り返ります。6月から走りっぱなしのガイドで、庭にも畑にも追われるように、季節が進んでいます。6月も7月も、素晴らしい魚、釣り人、フィールドに恵まれました。It's been a while since I last updated my blog. I'd like to look back on this year's fishing. I've been guiding nonstop since June, and the seasons are progressing as I'm busy in the garden and fields. In both June and July, I was blessed with wonderful fish, anglers, and fishing fields.
ドライフライの釣りが大好きで（ニンフもストリーマーの釣りも好きですが）、ドライフライで釣れる魚ばかりを探して、ライズとの対戦、サイトフィッシングの面白さ。十勝は、山奥の渓流から、平野部の河川、湧水など、フィールドの多様はどこへ行っても楽しい釣りが待っています。ニジマス、ブラウントラウト、オショロコマ、アメマス、エゾイワナ。どれもドライフライで釣る楽しさがあります。I love dry fly fishing (although I also like nymph and streamer fishing), and I enjoy searching for fish that can be caught with dry flies, competing with rises, and the fun of sight fishing. Tokachi has a variety of fields, from mountain streams deep in the mountains to rivers in the plains and springs, so fun fishing awaits wherever you go. Rainbow trout, brown trout, Dolly Varden trout, white-spotted char, and Ezo Iwana char. All of them are fun to catch with dry flies.

これが私の1匹でした。お客さんが帰った後に、あの魚、ちゃんと釣れるかなあ？と自分で腕試ししたくて、２時間かかりましたが、ランディング。嬉しかったです。私の唯一の1匹でした。This was my one and only fish. After the customers left, I wanted to test my skills and see if I could catch that fish, so it took me two hours, but I finally landed it. I was so happy. It was my only one.
ロッジの周りは、今年は小麦でした。じゃがいも、ビート、豆、といった4作物でまわす輪作なので、今年は小麦。黄金色の麦畑と収穫後のロールの景色はまさに北海道の初夏でした。This year, wheat was grown around the lodge. The lodge grows four crops: potatoes, beets, and beans, so this year it was wheat. The golden wheat fields and the rolls after harvest were a true early summer sight in Hokkaido.
私が一番美しいと思う魚が、オショロコマ。大好きな魚で、暑い夏になると、山奥に逃げ込むようにオショロコマへとお客さんに強制します。この無垢な魚、ほんとうに癒されます。山が健全、森が豊かさが、こんなオショロコマの美しさとおおらかさになるのでしょう。夏は必ず会いにいく魚です。The fish I find most beautiful is the Dolly Varden. It's my favorite fish, and when the hot summer comes, I force my guests to take the Dolly Varden deep into the mountains. This innocent fish is truly soothing. I think the health of the mountains and the abundance of forests are what give the Dolly Varden its beauty and generosity. It's a fish I definitely want to see in the summer.
今年もひっそりとですが、エゾイワナに出会えました。多くはないですが、白い斑点が小さなエゾイワナは、やっぱりアメマスとは違います。残念なのは、お客さんのランディングネットが、手編みのネットだったので、リリースするイワナのヒレを痛めてしまったこと。私のネットで救ってあげれば良かったと反省しました。This year, I was able to quietly encounter some Hokkaido char again. There weren't many, but these small white spotted Hokkaido char are definitely different from white-spotted char. Unfortunately, the customer's landing net was hand-knitted, so it damaged the fins of the char he was releasing. I regret not using my net to save it.
場所は、伏せておきますが、行くのが大変で、久しぶりにチャレンジした釣り場でした。5年ぶり？かつてはすごい釣り場でしたが、今は、シーンとした場所。でも古くからのお客さんは、印象、イメージが残っているので、希望があれば、私も気になっていることもあり、頑張って行きます。そんなチャレンジが、たまたまうまくいった1匹でした。その後は、シーンでしたが、、、I won't reveal the location, but it was a difficult spot to get to, so it was a fishing spot I hadn't tried in a long time. It's been five years? It used to be a great fishing spot, but now it's a quiet place. But it seems that long-time customers have an impression and image of it, and if there's any interest, I'll do my best, so I'll go. Sometimes such a challenge works out by chance. After that, it was quiet, but...
この時期になると、いろいろな虫が入ってこようとしますが、網戸にでっかいミヤマがいました。夏です At this time of year, various insects try to get in, and I found a huge Miyama on the screen door. It's summer.
6月も7月もカゲロウたちにはとてもお世話になりました。時と場所。モンカゲロウが騒げば必ず大型の鱒たちも騒ぎます。モンカゲ前線を追いかけて、6、7月は楽しみました。そして悩まされました。I was very grateful for the mayflies in June and July. It was the right time and the right place. Whenever the mayflies made noise, the large trout would also make noise. I followed the mayfly front line throughout June and July. And it was troubling.
このお二人。名コンビ。釣り釣られ、そんな仲良く釣りができる仲間というのは、とても素晴らしいです。These two are a great duo. It's wonderful to have such friendly fishing buddies who can fish and be caught by others.
そしてこのご夫婦も、釣り釣られ。奥様が釣ることで、ご主人が気兼ねなく釣れるのか、まずはMiyukiさんが釣るんです。どちらも素晴らしい釣りをします。This couple also enjoys fishing. Miyuki fishes first, so that the wife can fish without worrying about the husband. Both are excellent fishermen.
奥様が大きな魚を釣った後に、素晴らしい魚を釣りますが、奥様よりも小さな魚を釣るというのも、旦那にとっては大事なお気遣いですよね！After his wife catches a big fish, he catches a wonderful fish, but it's also a great consideration for the husband to catch a smaller fish than his wife!
天気にも魚にも恵まれた四日間のガイドでした。ガイド仲間にも魚を譲ってもらって、みんなで1匹の魚を釣るというのもまた楽しい物です。The four-day guide trip was blessed with good weather and good fish. It was also fun to catch a fish together with my fellow guides, who shared their fish with me.

とにかく、夜になるとうるさい。アマガエル。ロッジの庭の池の周りで毎晩聞こえてくる声は、もう。可愛いんですけどね！Croak, crook, crook, crook...
They're so noisy at night. Tree frogs. The sounds you hear every night around the pond in the lodge's garden are just too loud. They're cute though!
渋谷さんです。1日だけ時間があったので、「人の釣り見て我が釣り直せ」です。「百聞は一見にしかず」。私が見てきたドライフライの釣りで、一番上手な方です。釣り人に、初心者からエキスパートがいるように、魚にも初心者の魚からエキスパートの魚がいるので、なかなかです。This is Shibuya-san. He only had one day to spare, so he decided to "learn how others fish and try to do the same." "Seeing is believing." He's the best dry fly fisherman I've ever seen. Just as there are beginner and expert anglers, there are also beginner and expert fishermen, so it's quite impressive.
ニジマスは、ライズするので面白いです。ライズを見つけ、サイズを確認して、虫に合わせてフライを決めて、次のライズを待つ時間が好きです。そして、口をあけてフライを吸い込むように食うシーンが一番好きです。その一瞬は、何度みても「うっ」ってなります。その一瞬を見たいために、ガイドをしているようなもので、ニンフをやると、この「うっ」っていうのがないから、お客さんには絶対ドライフライを勧めるんです。Rainbow trout are fascinating because they rise. I like the time it takes to spot a rise, check its size, choose a fly to match the insect, and wait for the next rise. And the best part is the moment they open their mouths and suck the fly in. No matter how many times I watch that moment, I say "wow." I feel like I'm a guide because I want to see that moment, and since using nymphs means you don't get that "wow" feeling, I always recommend dry flies to my clients.
一年に一度だけ、十勝でフライフィッシングをやることが好きという方で、毎年来てくれるのですが、天気と虫が味方につけば、ドキドキとか、びっくりがある。その人には、その人なりの釣りがあるので、私はいつも一生懸命頑張って、サポートします。そして、大きい、小さい関係なく、貴重な1匹、素晴らしい魚には、敬意を表すのです。She loves to go fly fishing in Tokachi just once a year, and she comes every year. When the weather and insects are on her side, it's thrilling and surprising. Everyone has their own way of fishing, so I always do my best to support him. And, regardless of whether it's big or small, I always show my respect for every precious, wonderful fish her catches.
今年は、立派なブラウンでしたが、この写真の見どころは年季のはいったシワシワの右手。毎年、毎年、歩けなくなっても、まだ釣りがしたい。オービスのロッド、フィルソンの上着、カッコよく年をとるというのは、なかなかできることじゃないでしょう。私のちょっとした努力でそんな方の役に立てるのだから、釣りばかりして育った発達障害もなかなかでしょ！また来年もがんばりましょう！This year's brown trout was impressive, but the highlight of this photo is his wrinkled hands. Every year, even though he can no longer walk, he still wants to go fishing. Orvis rod, Filson vest, it's not easy to age gracefully. If my little effort can help someone like him, then developmental disabilities are no joke! Let's do our best again next year!
ロッジラッキーフィールドも15年目です。いろんな方に支えてもらって、なんとかやってこれました。ありがたいことです。この頃の異常気象は、異常ではないくらい通常気象になってしまいましたが、常に目の前にある小さな目標をクリアして、コツコツやっていこうと思います。家族一同、釣り仲間一同、魚たち一同、楽しみにお待ちしております！Lodge Lucky Field is now in its 15th year. We've managed to get by thanks to the support of many people. We're very grateful. The abnormal weather we've been experiencing recently has become so normal that it's no longer considered abnormal, but we're determined to keep working hard, achieving the small goals that are right in front of us. My family, my fishing buddies, and the fish are all looking forward to it!
